 All,

I would like to thank you all for your help in achieving our milestone date of 24th Feb to place and receive initial Voip calls at Smart Village location - Cairo.

This was a significant challenge and I'm pleased to say the centre manager - David Brooks - was very happy to report to his US management team that the date had been met .... using one of the two test Avaya phones we setup. There are of course further tasks still to be performed and I look forward to speaking with you on a planning call tomorrow Mauro as agreed, to discuss these further.

 I would like to offer my congratulations to you on what has been and still is a very challenging project as the demands of my clients both Sita and Saudi airlines are very high. I understand this has been one of your first experiences into managing projects as apposed to design and estimating, you have managed my requests very well and worked very hard to meet my at times high demands.

 I would also like you to pass on my thanks to Tamer and his team and especially Adel and the engineers who have carried out the works so far to a high standard.

 As you know we are now coming close to the end of the project for the works in Egypt and so far you have managed to meet my requests in as quick a time as other departments within your company have allowed, as I fully understand that in a large company like yourselves you are much reliant on the information and details coming back to you from engineers etc before you can supply my answers.

 Keep up the good work you are a very good man and I would recommend you to assist me on any future works that our company may have for Global Brands because as you know we are in negotiations with other airlines and other works within Egypt for which because of your hard work and professional approach Global Brands will benefit in me issuing more works.

 You really exceeded our expectation!!!

 

We thank you and your team for your commitment and dedication. I always trust your after sales services but I was not expecting that you can handle such challenge.

 

Let me share the story with your team:

 

  1. I received a request from one of our divisional team (Ms. Rana Tohme) on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at 5:50 pm asking for a help to replace the keyboard of her HP Laptop. She has to travel on Saturday August 23rd and she needs to know the price and the availability.

  2. I called Global Brands Support number to open a support ticket. This was after working hours and the majority of GB associates were not there.

  3. The GB associate answered my call very politely, understood my request and offered to provide contact details as per my request. I’ve requested the cell # of Eng. Mahmoud Maarek and Mr. Sayed Desouky.

  4. I’ve called Mr. Maarek from a land line (not in his contact list).

  5. Eng. Maarek answered the phone and promised to get back to me within few minutes as he needs to wash his hands from the “fish” meal, which he was eating!!!

  6. At this moment I realized that Eng. Maarek is enjoying a nice vacation and a delicious lunch. I was not expecting that he’ll be able to come back to me before 2-3 hours.

  7. Just after 3 minutes, I received a call from Eng. Maarek confirming that tomorrow morning the keyboard will be replaced. I’ve asked him about the charges, he answered that he is not sure as he is not in the office and this is not the issue.

  8. On Thursday August 21st at 9:00 am, I received a call from GB engineer asking to come and replace the keyboard, I’ve asked the Eng. to come at 11:00 am.

  9. At 11:00 am sharp, the Eng. came and replaced the keyboard in just 2 minutes and when I asked him for the charges, he answered that there is no charges as the laptop is already in warranty.

  10. The laptop owner is based in Italy and she is a Lebanese nationality always traveling within the EAME division. She was really impressed by the great quick response and confirmed that she never expects such service.
